Mission: To prevent and reduce drug misuse and addiction among youth and adults; and to provide education, communication and awareness of resources in Wilson County, Tennessee.

Ms. Lisa Tapley

Monthly Meetings

``Informative``

February 2018: Ms. Lisa Tapley’s son Thomas passed away from an opioid overdose in 2018 after a work injury to his back and was prescribed pain medication. Thomas’ story ended with street pills that were laced with fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid that is 80 – 100 times more powerful than morphine.

Ms. Tapley then spoke with Wilson County Mayor Hutto about resources for those struggling with addiction.

June 2018: Leadership team put in place, committees formed.

May 2018: Mayor Hutto and community leaders come together to discuss how we can help to fight drug addiction.

August 2018: Mission and Vision established for the new coalition. Now the real work begins!

Today: Please join us on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 9 AM, 2nd floor conference room at the Wilson County Courthouse (228 E Main St, Lebanon, Tennessee). We could use more volunteers like you!
