Tammy Grow

Tammy Grow is the Executive Director of DrugFree WilCo and previously served as Chairperson of the Board since its inception in 2018. She is a Certified Prevention Specialist with 23 years of experience in public education, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tusculum College in 1995 and earning a Master of Arts degree and a Specialist in Education degree from Tennessee Technological University in Instructional Leadership. She served twelve years as a district Health Coordinator, strengthening community partnerships, and coordinating programs and services for students to promote their physical, emotional, and social health. Tammy enjoys spending time with her family and church family, at the Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church serving as a Children’s Program Director. Email: tgrow@drugfreewilco.org

Scott Moore

Captain Scott Moore

Captain Scott Moore has been serving with the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office for 24 years. Currently, he serves as the agency’s Public Information Officer and Captain over the School Resource Officer Division. Captain Moore has had the distinct pleasure of speaking across Tennessee and all over the country on topics such as school safety and public information. He currently serves as the Chairperson for DrugFree WilCo. He continues to help bring resources to Wilson County in addition to the initiatives that have already been put in place to reduce the amount of drug overdoses and help those struggling with addiction.

Susan Shaw

Susan E. Shaw

Susan E. Shaw is the Project Administrator for Wilson County Mayor Randall Hutto. Through her work to carry out Mayor Hutto’s quality of life initiatives, Susan worked with concerned community members to fight the opioid crisis and help build DrugFree WilCo, currently serving as Co-Chair of the non-profit Board. Susan grew up in Chicago and graduated from UTK. Her career in Global Insurance took her to many homes in the U.S. and in S. Korea until 2007 when she settled in Lebanon, TN. Susan serves on the Boards of Wilson Rides Inc., the Noon Rotary Club of Lebanon, and the Cumberland University Community Arts Council.

Jared Throneberry

Jared Throneberry is a husband, father, foster parent, volunteer, and speaker. He currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors and previously served as the President of Historic Old Hickory Village and the Old Hickory Chamber of Commerce. He was a 2014 semi-finalist in the Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking and the 2017 Tennessee Big Brother of the Year. During the day Jared is a QA/Business Analyst and an IT and social media volunteer for several organizations. He and his superhero wife live in Mt Juliet with their two kids and foster kids. They attend Donelson Church of Christ where he serves as a deacon and occasionally leads worship.

Jessica Stanley

Jessica Stanley

Jessica Stanley was born in Lebanon, TN, and currently serves Knox County as the Regional Overdose Prevention Specialist and Wilson County, as Secretary on the Board of DrugFree WilCo. Jessica is a TN Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, Young Adult Peer Support Specialist, CCAR certified Recovery Coach, Recovery Coach Academy Facilitator, and Mindfulness Facilitator and is fighting to break stigma and increase access to harm reduction. Jessica is an overdose survivor and uses her own experience, strength, and hope to reach and provide education to others who have or know someone with a substance use disorder. She is passionate about sharing her story and remains transparent as she makes connections with people from all walks of life.

Charlotte Buscher

Charlotte Buscher

Charlotte Buscher, RN, MSN is the Regional Clinical Risk Manager for Vanderbilt University Medical Center and other regional hospitals. She previously served as the Clinical Director for the Acute Inpatient Behavioral Health Department at VWCH. She has served in several leadership roles over the past 25 years with most of her work focused on caring and advocating for the mentally ill and those with addiction disorders. Charlotte is passionate about serving on the board of directors to engage various entities in this life-saving effort to combat drug misuse and addiction and the consequences for individuals and our community.

Javin Cripps

Javin Cripps

Javin Cripps is an assistant district attorney in the 15th judicial district, serving as the drug prosecutor for Wilson County. He is a life-long Smith County resident with experience handling both civil and criminal cases during his eighteen-year career. Javin earned an undergraduate degree at Middle Tennessee State University and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2001, with a double minor in Psychology and Political Science. He is a graduate of the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis, TN. Javin has worked in every county in the 15th judicial district, practicing in Wilson County for the last four years. In January 2022, he began as the Drug Court representative for the District Attorney’s Office seeking out incarcerated candidates for our local drug court. He has seen firsthand what drugs can do to a community and to a family. Outside of the office, Javin enjoys spending time with his wife, Melanie, and three daughters and tending to cattle on his family farm.

Christie White

Christie White is the Student Services Coordinator for Wilson County Schools and has served in the education field for 5 years, both at the k-12 level, and the post-secondary level as a Criminal Justice Instructor. Prior to entering education, she was a criminal prosecutor in Anchorage, Alaska, where she drafted several municipal criminal laws surrounding the newly legalized recreational marijuana. Christie has been diligently working at the forefront of Wilson County Schools fight against drug use in schools. She has even had the opportunity to witness and interact with YPC students during their efforts to teach, engage with, and encourage elementary students to move forward on a drug-free path.

Brittany Laborde

Brittany Laborde currently works for the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a Regional Overdose Prevention Specialist. Her personal experience with family members struggling with addiction and past professional experience working for the Tennessee Department of Health paved the way to her current involvement in helping those in her community who struggle with substance use disorder. Brittany has been a member of the Williamson County Anti-Drug Coalition for five years.

Kim Gregg

Kim Gregg is a local muralist, hairdresser, piano teacher, and mother of three grown children. She previously directed the 4th-5th grade wing at her church for fifteen years and theatrical plays at a local elementary school. Kim felt convicted about the drug crisis in our community after attending the DOPESICK forum DrugFree WilCo hosted in September 2022. She decided to join the coalition and play an active role in prevention to help reduce substance misuse in Wilson County.
