On April 25th, our officers partnered with DrugFree Wilco and TriStar Mt. Juliet ER to provide a safe, convenient location for the community to dispose of expired or unwanted medications for DEA National Take Back Day.
Det. Cordle, with our Criminal Investigations Unit, played a key role in the effort, helping collect and properly transport 187 pounds of medications for safe disposal.
Events like this are held twice a year and are an important part of keeping our community safe and preventing misuse of prescription drugs. Stay tuned for details on the next one.
